As a part of my BFA project for my undergrad, I was appointed to be the Puppet Master and Designer for Firebringer. With a tight 4-week turnaround and tight budget, I was asked to create two massive creatures, one of which is a saber tooth tiger known as Snarl. He was a technical challenge, and needed the ability to blink and change eye color. I worked closely with our lighting designer and lighting mentor to create an LED setup within the eye structures. Overall this was a learning experience in larger scale puppetry and electrical wiring within puppets.
